Center Activities

Changes from Winter to Spring- We will be doing a group discussion on the changes that happen between winter and spring. We will also be going on a nature walk to see the changes around us outside.

Shapely Kites

Kite flying is one of the beloved spring activities. So we are going to go on a kite hunt around our classroom. Each kite will be a different color and shape. The kids will all return with their kite that they found and identify what the shape and color is.

PRE-K Reading and Sight Words

This week we will be reviewing all of our sight words that we have learned through out the year.

We will be identifying the process of reading by understanding we put a space between each word and identifying where the sentence ends.

We will also be playing Sight Word Bingo!

High Flying Numbers

Children will find a kite with a certain number on it. They will then add bows to the kite that match the same number.

Writing
We will be writing a page on "If I were a kite on a windy day, I would fly away to..."
I will help them finish the page along with encouraging them to use their imaginations to think of a fun place that they would fly to.
